Executive / Organizational Coach Training

Executive and Organizational Coaching is one of the fastest-growing areas of the coaching industry.

Executive and Organizational Coach Training

You know how corporate works. Now learn how to change it from the inside.

You've sat in the meetings. You've watched talented people get promoted into leadership roles with zero support for actually leading. You've seen what happens when a company treats its people like resources instead of human beings — and you've thought, more than once, someone needs to fix this.

That someone could be you.

Corporate Coaching without the Script

The Executive & Organizational Coaching Major Concentration teaches you how to coach in the corporate sector — with real skill, not a script. You'll learn how to help leaders and employees create genuine change, while also understanding the landscape you're operating in: the stakeholders, the gatekeepers, the competing agendas, and the unspoken expectations that come with every corporate coaching engagement.

What You’ll Learn in our Executive and Organizational Coach Training

This concentration goes beyond the basics of coaching skill to cover the specific terrain of executive and organizational work:

  • The fundamentals of executive coaching, including motivation, leadership development, and how to help clients identify and leverage their strengths.

  • How to use assessment tools effectively — not as a crutch, but as a doorway into deeper coaching conversations.

  • How to balance the needs and expectations of the employee you're coaching and the corporate management that hired you — without losing your integrity in the process.

  • The administrative and business development differences that apply when finding and securing executive coaching clients, including how to pursue and land corporate contracts.

Frequently Asked Questions about Executive Coach Training

  • This concentration was built for two kinds of people.

The first is someone who's still in the corporate world and wants to stay there — but differently. Maybe you're looking to integrate coaching into your current role. Maybe you're eyeing a lateral move into a more coaching-centric position within your company. You're not ready to blow up your career — you want to evolve it, with real skills and a real credential behind you.

The second is someone who's done their time in corporate and now wants to work with corporate — on your own terms. You know how these organizations think, how they make decisions, and what they actually need. You want to translate that insider knowledge into contracts, clients, and a coaching practice with staying power.

Either way, you're not starting from zero. You're starting from experience — and this training is designed to make that experience count.

  • We recommend that you have previous coaching experience. This course builds off of foundational coaching skills and adapts them for Executive Coaching and Organizational environments, and if you don’t already know how to work with clients, you won’t have the full picture.

Homework assignments will require you to swap a coaching session with another participant or a practice client, and you’ll need to have some coaching experience to fulfill that assignment.
