ICF Mentor Coaching
Do you need to renew your ACC, PCC, or MCC? One requirement is to participate in ICF Mentor Coaching. CLCC offers ICF Mentor Coaching to all current ICF credential holders who are seeking renewal of their credential.
10 Powerful Hours of Mentor Coaching
We believe that the deeper you go into your own personal work as a coach, the better you can show up for your clients. We use the ICF Mentor Coaching requirement as an opportunity to not only review the Core Competencies, but also as an opportunity for you to do your own deep, reflective work.
Mentor Coaching Format
You’ll receive coaching for 45 minutes of a 60 minute session. The final 15 minutes, we ask you to use metacognitive reflection practices to review what Core Competencies you observed, from your vantage point as the client.
We’ve found that this approach helps you think about your own coaching in a new way, while also providing you an opportunity to remember what it’s like to be in the client seat making your way through changes.
FAQs about ICF Mentor Coaching

The cost for ten 60-minute sessions is $1500 for CLCC graduates, and $1750 for non-CLCC graduates.

On your application, you’ll be asked which of our CLCC facilitators you’d like to work with for your ten ICF Mentor Coaching sessions. If you’re not sure who you want to work with, we’ll make a suggestion based on the areas you want to explore from your application.

Each CLCC coach has a different schedule with different availability, and can share that with you after receiving your application. Keep in mind that the ICF requires Mentor Coaching sessions to take place over a minimum 3-month period.

Our attendance and payment policy is as follows:
1.) We need at least 24 hours' notice to cancel or reschedule a session. An email must be sent to our main email account with the subject line, "SESSION CANCEL/RESCHEDULE" and we'll work off of the time-stamp on that email.
2.) There are no refunds for sessions that are missed/no-shows.
3.) We cannot repeatedly reschedule sessions; we will reschedule one time.
4.) You must attend sessions on-time and complete the entire session.
5.) Missed sessions can be made up at a rate of $175 per hour.
6.) All sessions are paid for in advance and there are no refunds; sessions are not transferrable to a different person or different year. Sessions must be used within 6 months of purchase.

We think it's important to make sure that everyone is clear on their role as you undertake Mentor Coaching. CLCC will provide Mentor Coaching, but cannot guarantee any outcomes as a result of this coaching, including but not limited to any guarantees of outcomes that you will be able to secure or renew an ICF Credential. CLCC additionally takes no responsibility for decisions that you make or outcomes as a result of receiving coaching.
With that said? If you’re already a coach you know the power that can come when two people work together collaboratively in support of your goals, and we are excited to be on your team and believe in your human potential. -
These sessions are solely devoted to coaching around your personal and professional growth. We’ll coach you around the process of running a business, but this is a coaching environment, and therefore we won’t provide strategic marketing or business building support. For instance, we’re happy to coach around a topic like showing up with greater visibility online, but we would not specifically tell you how to optimize a social media post for greater reach.
